Nowhere Man

Hello!
I've been seeing plaid pants everywhere recently so I decided to break mine out last Sunday for a trip with my friends to this Yoko Ono exhibit. It was really cool and interesting to see Lennon's art for the first time and learn a little more about his life.  The exhibit left me wanting to listen to the Beatles all day and watch Across the Universe. Before catching some late lunch we also stopped in an art and science store called Evolution.  Some stuff kinda creeped me out (no stuffed bunnies please), but other things like several anatomy diagrams and paper weights with bugs petrified inside were super cool. The store has me planning out future interior design projects. I hope everyone is able to get through this monday and the rest of the week :)

And I Thought You Might Be Mine

Hello! Recently I've been amazed over and over at the fact that something as simple as a flick of eyeliner, a blood colored lip, or some socks can make practically anyone feel sexy or powerful. I broke out my knee socks for this reason as well as the in between fall and winter weather we've been having lately and it conveniently coincided with me watching Madonna's Art for Freedom revolution for the first time. I HIGHLY recommend watching it. It brings up many issues that I support and reinforces the simple fact that you should do (or wear) what you want if it makes you happy or portrays what you want to broadcast -- sexy or not.
PS - I can't even lie and say that this outfit (and title) wasn't inspired by the Arctic Monkeys song Knee Socks and Rebecca's post Here so you should go check those out too.
