A Night in Wonderland

Sometimes the universe likes to make me sick then throw me in to exams . . . and now that my lame excuse for a long absence is over, here is my Prom post!!! I had a wonderful time at prom. To everyone going or has already gone to their school's prom I hope you have/had a wonderful time. My advice to everyone already going or considering going to prom is that when it comes to something so frivolous there is NO reason to take it more seriously than you want to. The reason I had so much fun at prom was because I did it on my terms and made sure I had fun and ignored all the stupid stuff (also known as "Prama"). In this case the only thing that doesn't make you happy at prom is yourself.

Last?

I went shopping last week with the intention to start gathering a few pieces for Spring. Spring is my favorite season so I'm already super excited for it, but I saw these boots and I thought they were good as a last purchase for Winter. They are super tough looking and I'm having a lot of fun pairing them with girly tops. They are also super comfy!!! Walking to school has never been better. But  unfortunately, I don't think my prediction for the end of Winter is correct seeing as it's snowing outside at the moment. I'll just have to wait a little longer for my season. Oh well, at least I'll have my shoes =). 

First

 I'm not usually one for New Year's resolutions, though it can be motivating, but firsts seem super special when they are in the beginning of the year. The sweater is my first purchase from Urban Outfitters and the shoes are my first purchase, for myself, from Asos.  I've browsed around both before these purchases and I am in love. They both offer very unique items, plus Asos has a huge variety style wise (super great for people like me who are girly one day and then edgy the next).  The sweater is definitely in the slouchy/comfy category, and as I told my friend I love the random white sleeve. As for the shoes, I have been looking at them for  eternity (it feels like), and caved in to buying them when they got so ridiculously marked down that it was practically a sin not to. I would fully support anyone checking both brands out or any store you've never went in before- take the chance.

P.S. Please ignore the weird face I'm making in the third picture. Gordon Ramsay's the F word was on and the team had only one customer willing to pay - so sad for them =( I kept the picture because of the contrast between my sleeve and the rest of the sweater.
