If you don't belong, don't be long

For years now I have seriously underestimated the power of a simple graphic tee. I can guess it came from the idea when I was younger that I needed to wear anything except the "normal" graphic tee in order to stand out and and be unique. Fortunately that  strange delusion is over and I'm all set to be wearing tees all the time, starting with my Micheal Jackson one. Today I went to a study session during the day (yes I'm a nerd who goes to school on Saturday) and a play during the night. As a result I have an extremely simple day to night transition, but despite the simplicity I'm rather in love with outfit (especially the pants!!)

P.S. The title is an eloquent way to say Beat It haha and also a book including Scott Campbell,  Al Moran, Justin Theroux, Richard Price, and Terry Richardson that I'm hoping to pick up soon.

Embrace the Warmth

It is the first day of Spring and it is finally warm outside! In my short absence I've been doing some spring shopping, which has got to be my favorite thing to do. Though I love the hype and various layers of fall fashion there is just something about shedding the layers and the brightness that just makes me want to transform when it's time for Spring. This season I'm gravitating towards things that a bright but can also be used in a feminine or masculine way. The obvious trend i'm trying out now is flower pants. The first pair are the huge print skinny pant version while the second are flowy and wide-legged. There will be many outfit post very soon. Yay for Spring!!

Cold

I decided to wear this while out dress shopping despite the cold. To say the least it definitely felt nice to be in  mostly spring clothes rather than bundled up in sweaters. The top is a surprise buy because I wasn't planning on trying the peplum top trend, but after I tried it on I saw that it was actually quite flattering. Can't wait for more spring surprises. Stay warm everyone!
