Olympic Fever

Belarus - Picture from Here

Netherlands - Picture from Here

Great Britain - Picture from Here
To help out with my current obsession over anything related to the United Kingdom, though it's more like a constant admiration in my life, I have been wasting my time not only on the computer, but also watching the Olympics. The opening ceremony was beautiful, and nothing like I ever expected. My house mainly consisted of me blurting out random trivial facts about Britain and my Mom making fun of my complete lack of geographical skills. Despite the craziness of my mother and I, I very much enjoyed watching all of the countries walk in to the stadium. Since nothing is complete without a little fashion, I picked my top three uniforms. Belarus I liked so much simply because I wanted to wear it the instant I saw it. The Netherlands was just so clean, sharp and colorful even I wanted to wear orange. And lastly the United Kingdom looked like rock stars and were ready  to compete and party. Hope you are enjoying the Olympics as much as I am.    Do you have a favorite?

Fantasy

Vest, tank top, and rings - H&M Shorts- Forever 21

I have been feeling very under the weather the past two days, so it is nice to look back at these pictures. It remind me of a time (that I will probably get back to once I feel well) where I just wish I was some British badass. ohhh my American fantasies. Hope you all feel better then I do and enjoy the little characters you have in your head.

Rule Breaker

Sometimes we girls, and fashion lovers, get a bad reputation for saying we hate something or would never buy something ever, and then going out and buying it in the near future. I am no exception to this. I actually do it all the time haha. So here are my new rule breakers. The first is a fringe bag from Steve Madden. It is amazing for the summer and even though I had previously claimed that I hated fringe, I really like this one because the color and construction of it are more structured, and less slouchy and bohemian. I have no excuse for the H&M vest. I had the urge awhile ago to get one, and finally just did and have loved it ever since. Don't feel bad if you change your mine. It's just what we do.

Summer Essentials

Hello there! I thought I'd change it up a bit again and do some beauty reviews. Here's my best shot -

1. Rimmel London's The Max mascara
I feel like I've used this forever!! It is waterproof so it sticks through the pool and beach. It does not add a ton of length but is very voluminousness- which is fine with me because I already have long and full lashes.
2. Sonia Kashuk Radiant tinted moisturizer in tan
I hate wearing foundation in the summer. I usually opt to go bare faced. but when I do put on more makeup it's this tinted moisturizer. It's very lightweight, but it stays on throughout the day.
3. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer body mist sunblock
I can not emphasize enough how important sunscreen is. It doesn't matter how tan you are naturally USE SUNSCREEN.  I like this one because it is light and the spray is very even and easy to work with.
4. Olay complete moisturizer
This one isn't strictly directed towards summer, but it does have SPF 15, so if you run out for a quick errand your skin is moisturized and protected. The formula is also geared towards sensitive skin and my skin completely agrees with it.
5. Burt's Bees chapstick variety tin
Despite not having sun protection in their formula, I still use this chapstick. The tin comes with all of my favorites- Original beeswax, mango butter, acai berry, and pomegranate oil.
6. Neutrogena Moisture shine lip soother in Gleam(40) and Glaze (60)
I don't really like lip products, but this one has stayed around through the years. I don't use them often, but when I do they have amazing color and are never, ever sticky. I wonder why I don't use them that often, but I always return to them in the summer because they have SPF 20.
7. Revlon Cream Blush in Berry Flirtatious(18)
Last but not least is this cream blush. I have dry skin so the cream doesn't slip off my skin from the heat, and since it is a darker color then I use regularly it goes well with a tan.
