A bit of Hawaii in the Cold

Compared to last year's Florence escapade, my birthday this year was pretty chill but just as lovely. Come the Saturday after my birthday it was all about two of my favorite things: Brunch and Books. I had never been to Noreetuh, or tried Hawaiian food for that matter, but it's a favorite now. Everything we tried was so delicious and sweet. I had their pork belly hash with a 21st birthday approved Pog Mimosa. I'd love to head back and try out their dinner sometime.

Next we headed over to Housing Works bookstore. It was a lovely book shop and cafe filled with great, inexpensive books. I didn't pick up anything this time around since I really should start the ones I got in Dublin first. I'll be headed back though once I get those crossed off my TBR list.

Though I was hoping we'd get some warmer weather, the day actually was about 40 degrees. I figured I'd take out my winter boots for one last outing (hopefully.) I swear it's impossible to have cold feet with them since they are lined with faux fur. It's something I'm not used to as I am pretty much permanently cold. They're a little heavier than any of my other boots, but the quality is too good to pass up really.

Happy Birthday to all my fellow pisces,
xx Jasmine
